        water splashes  tears
        at the flesh
even the searing heat
cannot wash away the memory

Flesh
        pressed together         sweating
        on the sheets
motion becoming         one
separate entity split

Sheets
        hold the fluids
        shared when     two separate
even water cannot       remove
all of the skin
