sea coloured

sea coloured eyes
your arms wrap around me
lost in the waves of blue
and green, drowning in you

but the sea is calming
and I find comfort there
peace washes over, soothing
the tide coming into me

when I am far away I feel
lost without the sound
waves crashing on the shore
retreating back to the depths

I can smell you-the sea
I see you on the beach
I and you and the waves
pulling us in and the drowning

I love the sea but it scares
me with the monsterous waves
crashing over me and yet I am
still breathing despite the fear of drowning
